We own this yearling ram jointly with Sponaugle Suffolks.  This very correct, thick topped ram will continue to add natural thickness and muscle to our lambs while maintaining our desired height and extension.

Sponaugle 08-434 "Junior" - RR/NN:

This lamb was our first pick of ram lambs sired by McLaughlin/Griffin 07-512 "Bar None", the popular 2007 Grand Champion Suffolk Wether Sire at the Midwest Stud Ram Sale.  "Junior" exhibits many of the qualities of his sire and will be the foundation of our flock.

REFERENCE SIRES:

Tom Burke 5052 - RR/NN

This big ram was purchased at the Ohio Suffolk Sale where he performed well in both the show and sale.  He's out of "Cracker Jack" Peifer 1140, the 2004 National Champion Ram, who was out of "Stroker Ace", Peifer 1130, the 2002 National Champion Ram.  This ram carries tremendous bone, mass, and length while remaining correct throughout his structure.

Buckeye Acres ET 143 - QR/NN:

Our lead stud the last few years was "Buford", Buckeye Acres ET 143.  He carried great size, correctness, and breed character.  He worked at straightening toplines and raising and leveling docks.

Sponaugle 04-270A - RR/NN:

This ram was the third highest gainer and second high-selling ram at the 2004 Virginia Performance Tested Ram Sale.  A very heavy-made, long, yet correct ram, 04-270A was used successfully the last three years.  His offspring proved to be very correct, with good toplines and feet, as well as fast gainers and easy keepers.   He was a very good female producer for us.
